Desktop Support Officer Centorrino Technologies (CT), a recognized Great Place to Work in 2024, is expanding its Melbourne-based team and seeks a full‑time Desktop Support Officer to provide high‑quality onsite technical support at our customer site in Wyndham Vale. Overview Deliver friendly and knowledgeable support to customers across a range of devices including Macs, PCs, tablets, server systems, network infrastructure and voice platforms. Responsibilities Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations of customers’ systems. Develop a friendly bond with end‑users. Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and increase efficiency. Seek and incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve performance. Identify and resolve issues lacking existing processes, coordinating with peers to develop solutions. Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and procedures. Own day‑to‑day technology issues and liaise with external third‑party organisations. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. Qualifications & Experience Passion for customer service and a proven ability to resolve technical issues. Strong interest in technology and a desire to keep systems functioning optimally. Effective communication skills; calm, articulate and able to explain problems and preventive measures. Positive attitude and can‑do mindset with a track record of helping others. Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities. Flexibility to handle unusual situations, such as extended hours or schedule adjustments. Availability for the work hours 7 am–3:30 pm.
