HSEQ Advisor – MACA – Laverton, Western Australia Role & Project In this role you provide support and guidance to site HSE teams, supervisors and trainers, acting as the link between the corporate safety department, the project and client teams. The Gruyere gold mine is an open pit operation located 1200km north‑east of Perth in Western Australia’s north‑eastern Goldfields. Operations run on an 8:6 roster; the well‑structured work site and comfortable camp provide a supportive environment for your well‑being while away from home. Responsibilities Provide support and services associated with health, safety and environment matters to the Project Manager and the project team. Coordinate site based occupational health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and wellbeing of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials. Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems. Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actions. Develop and conduct monthly toolbox talks. Conduct regular workplace inspections. Qualifications Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety. 3+ years’ experience in a site‑based mining environment. A current Australian driver’s licence. National Police Clearance. Experience delivering safety initiatives. ICAM Lead Investigator trained (desirable). >Lead Auditor qualifications (desirable). Sound written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
