Wholesale & Partnership Manager

Freelance Marketing Strategist | Founder of Golden Child Part time: 3-4 days a week (24 hours) Location: Sydney or Newcastle NSW About the role: We’re looking for a Part Time Wholesale Manager to join our small team to help bring Golden Child to even more families around the world. You’ll nurture relationships with our incredible stockists, dream up new ways to grow our global footprint, and make sure every new season launch feels effortless. You’ll be the bridge between what we create and where it’s shared, turning conversations into partnerships and keeping our brand shining bright in stores everywhere. What you'll be doing day to day: Grow our stockist community: reach out to new stores in Australia and abroad, introduce them to our world, and onboard them with care. Build long-term relationships with existing retailers: check in regularly, share what’s new, and make sure they always feel supported. Prepare and share look books, line sheets, and product details for new season launches. Attend and manage trade shows and key events: help us show the world what Golden Child is all about. Develop and maintain partnerships across wholesale, platforms, and licensing, to identify new opportunities that expand Golden Child’s reach. Report on sales and market insights to help guide future collections. Keep your finger on the pulse: You’ll stay curious about what’s happening in the market, analysing sell-through data, spotting trends, and sharing insights that help us grow in the right direction. Work closely with our Customer Service / warehouse team to ensure every wholesale order and collection launch goes out smoothly and on time. Collaborate with marketing, design, and production so everything flows from concept to customer. About you: You love people, connecting, collaborating, and creating meaningful partnerships. You see the magic in both the creative and commercial sides of what we do, and you’re happiest when you’re bringing them together to make things happen. 2+ years experience in wholesale or account management (fashion, lifestyle or kidswear preferred). Naturally curious about trends, markets, and what makes a great retail experience. Confident communicator who’s comfortable presenting or pitching. Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and self-motivated. Comfortable using Shopify, Faire, Brandboom and Xero (or keen to learn). You’re proactive and comfortable managing your own time and priorities. You’ve got a driver’s licence and don’t mind traveling from time to time.
