MACA (OPMS Cambodia) is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a FIFO opportunity on a 4 week on, 2 week off roster, mobilising from Indonesia to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. You will be based at the Okvau Gold Project, located in Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province, approximately 275km north‑east of the capital. Build your future with one of WA’s most trusted contractors. Key Responsibilities Provide health, safety and environmental support to the Project Manager and site leadership team. Coordinate site based occupational health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the wellbeing of personnel, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials. Ensure that all employees and subcontractors receive adequate instruction and comply with project HSE systems. Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports, recommend corrective actions, and support implementation. Develop, conduct monthly toolbox talks and other safety communication activities. Perform regular workplace inspections and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety, or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a mining or heavy industry environment. Demonstrated experience delivering safety programs and initiatives. ICAM Lead Investigator trained (desirable). Strong communication skills in English. Sound computer skills and intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
