Program Coordinator – Student Services Wanneroo Secondary College Division: Independent Public School – North Metropolitan Education Region Salary: Level 3, $137,428 – $150,385 per annum (pro-rata) Work type: Fixed Term – Full Time (FTE: 1.0) Location: Wanneroo Closing date: 1 December 2025 (AWST) The Role We are seeking a strategic, driven and highly visible leader to join the leadership team as Program Coordinator – Student Services, as a key member of the Schools Leadership Team. The Program Coordinator – Student Services will be responsible for leading and managing a large, diverse and cohesive Student Services team to ensure successful implementation and monitoring processes for managing student wellbeing. Operational and strategic leadership is highly valued, along with well-developed physical, financial and human resource skills. High-level skills in managing educationally at-risk students, including knowledge of effective intervention, monitoring and reporting strategies in accordance with Department policy and guidelines, are highly desirable. Demonstrated capacity to work with external agencies and stakeholders is also valued. As a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school, you will lead tier 2 interventions for students at educational risk, and support the whole school implementation of PBS and the development of related processes, policies and practices. Qualifications • Strategic and operational leadership in an educational setting. • Leadership experience managing a sizable, diverse student services or pastoral care team. • Knowledge of educationally at-risk student supports and effective intervention strategies. • Ability to communicate effectively, build strong teams, work within budget, set and meet deadlines, and respond flexibly to changing situations. • Commitment to the college STAR values and a focus on pastoral care, student wellbeing and positive working relationships.
