Program Coordinator This permanent full‑time position commences Term 1, 2026. Alkimos College, located in the northern suburb of Alkimos with sweeping ocean views, opened in 2020 and provides an exceptional secondary education in world‑class facilities. Stage 1 buildings include administration, lower school student services, library, gymnasium, fitness centre, food studios, cafeteria, IT labs, workshops, classrooms, science labs, and a nature play area. Stage 2 (rolling out in 2024) includes a performing arts centre, lecture theatre, senior school student services centre and general classrooms. The Role As Program Coordinator you will work collaboratively with the Principal and executive team to provide educational leadership within the school and community. Your responsibilities include: Developing and promoting the school’s vision and encouraging ownership among staff and community members as a valued member of the leadership team. Supporting implementation of the school’s Business Plan, teaching in a team environment, and a whole‑school approach to initiatives. Using an evidence‑based approach to teaching through data analysis and self‑reflection, with expertise in using data sets to address individual student learning needs. Facilitating workforce effectiveness and serving as a role model for professional development. Contributing to school planning through participative decision‑making, including policy development and system maintenance. Managing programmes, specific curriculum areas, and general school administration, while liaising extensively with Principal, Associate Principals, Heads of Learning Area, Program Coordinators and relevant staff. Assisting with whole‑school approaches to STEM and innovative practices. Additional duties will be defined based on the successful applicant’s skills and the college’s needs. A teaching fraction (not exceeding 0.7) will be determined based on the applicant’s skill set.
