Content Creator – APPLY TODAY Mercor, based in Sydney, NSW, Australia, is looking for a mid-level to junior filmmaker video creator who can produce high-quality video content on demand. About The Role We’re seeking a resourceful, one-person filmmaking powerhouse who can work efficiently and produce high-quality video content on demand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to maximize resources, and can deliver polished results without overcomplicating the process. Responsibilities Come up with interesting video ideas, film short‑form clips and write instructions based on provided guidelines. Own professional camera equipment and tripod. Execute simple edits, including string‑outs, trims, and exports, for quick turnaround delivery. Bring a creative eye to every project, maximizing available resources to produce standout content. Collaborate closely with our team to align on vision, style, and goals. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a filmmaker. Demonstrated ability to shoot compelling video (portfolio or reel required). Basic editing skills in any standard software (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.). Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with minimal supervision. Must have a camera for recording videos – phone does not count. Creative problem‑solver who can adapt to different environments and challenges. Ideal Candidate A self‑starter who loves to create. Light on their feet, able to produce high‑quality work in short timeframes. Excited to experiment, innovate, and deliver fresh visual ideas. More Details Collaborate directly with Mercor’s project leads. Start dates are rolling; we aim to onboard qualified experts within a few days of application. Up to 40 hours of work per week. Fully remote and asynchronous, so it can be flexible to your schedule. Pay and Legal Status Pay‑per‑task, with an average effective rate of about $45 per hour. Contractor classification for Mercor. Payments via StripeConnect at the end of each week. Pay is in USD and subject to exchange rates. Screening Process Short interview and form; total time 30–40 minutes.
