The Group markets and sells in Australia, New Zealand and Asia communicating directly with its customers through online, print, television and digital publishing. The business operates through two divisions Innovations and TVSN.THE ROLE:A fixed term parental leave cover opportunity for 14 months. In this role you will actively partner with Direct Group entities to provide superior and professional people services to managers and employees through the resolution of generalist People & Culture matters, recruitment of top talent, and the delivery of cohesive People & Culture programs, initiatives and advice.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:Project management the implementation of a new HRIS and Learner Management SystemUpskilling leaders on the new performance review processManaging and coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for specific business unitsPartnering with leaders to design and implement change projectsBoard reports – preparing and analysing employee data, including weekly and monthly reporting as requiredUpdating policies and proceduresCreating employee communicationsManaging employee relation mattersWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:Demonstrated stakeholder management skillsSound knowledge and ability to interpret current employment legislation as well as contemporary people and culture practices, policies and trendsDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and promote adherence to legislative complianceStrong written communication skills, with an ability to write general correspondenceWell-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels, and provide support and adviceAbility to work independently and contribute effectively as a team member to achieve goalsStrong organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to priorities and manage workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstancesAbility to use problem solving skills to identify problems and establish an appropriate solutionIN RETURN WE OFFER:GREAT product discounts across the GroupAnnual salary reviewson-site parkingSocial clubFree membership to SONDER health and wellbeing for you and your familySupportive leadership and ongoing coachingFantastic culture within a thriving, collaborative organisation who values our people
