An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Billing team at Diamond Energy, an Energy Bay brand. We have 2 new openings in the Billings team: 1 full‑time permanent and another 12‑month fixed‑term contract with potential for extension. Responsibilities Billing lifecycle management: Handle all aspects of billing across the customer lifecycle, including initial bills, automated billing, exception handling, and final billing for mass market, off‑market, commercial & industrial (C&I), and generator connections. Support for C&I billing operations: Aid with billing processes and account management for C&I customers. Product and tariff audits: Conduct regular audits and reviews of products, tariffs, customer accounts, and other relevant areas as needed. Issue resolution and analysis: Perform ad‑hoc billing tasks to investigate, analyze, and resolve specific issues or exceptions. Monthly C&I billing activities: Manage all monthly billing tasks for C&I customers, including preparation and maintenance of the weekly C&I billing dashboard. Off‑market billing operations: Execute billing tasks for off‑market customers and maintain the associated off‑market dashboard. Mass market billing processes: Oversee mass market billing activities, including automated billing runs and upkeep of the mass market billing dashboard. Identify problems, ongoing issues and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Energetic and positive mindset. Highly effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a supportive, fast‑paced, and evolving team environment. Proactive approach with a strong sense of initiative. High attention to detail with a strong commitment to follow-through and task completion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. General IT proficiency, including experience with Outlook and CRM platforms. Skilled in data management tools and technologies, including programming languages such as SQL and Python, and Excel capabilities highly regarded. Effective time management and ability to handle complex tasks efficiently. Genuine interest in the regulatory framework and operations of the electricity market.
