The Opportunity: Full‑time | Ongoing contract of employment TL $86,928 - $123,284 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience) Drummond Street Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport The Centre for Energy and Infrastructure is at the forefront of powering Australia’s future workforce. With a strong focus on the Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) and major infrastructure projects such as tunnelling, we deliver cutting‑edge training programs that prepare learners for high‑demand careers in construction, safety and plant operations. Responsibilities: Develop and implement delivery and assessment tools that meet the requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2015, relevant Training Packages, TAS, Holmesglen procedures and contractual/funding agreements. Apply a variety of instructional strategies and assessment techniques to support students with diverse learning styles, cultural backgrounds and educational needs. Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to course coordination, departmental operations and student support services to achieve positive learning outcomes. Maintain knowledge of vocational education compliance requirements, including assessment validation, student administration, course evaluation and documentation in line with Holmesglen policies and regulatory standards. Actively participate in professional learning and industry consultation to ensure current vocational and pedagogical skills, licences and qualifications are maintained for the units being delivered. Qualifications: An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a UET, or equivalent, at least to the level being delivered and assessed. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/40116/40110) or successor. Approved diploma or higher‑level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training. Secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials: TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set; TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or successor; TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or successor. Current licences necessary to practice, or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association where applicable. WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Working with Children Check and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months. An approved course of adult teacher training accredited at AQF Level 5 or 6, with studies in adult learning methodology, teaching in a vocational education environment, applied research and 200 hours of supervised practicum. Higher or post‑graduate qualifications in a relevant field.
