The Role We have an exciting permanent full-time position available to join our Electrical Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland SkillsTech's Eagle Farm campus. As a TAFE Teacher in Electrical, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting. This position reports to the relevant Business Manager. Annual staff recognition awards and years of service recognition Pride Network for LGBTQIA+ employees and allies Free car parking Mandatory Requirements Applicants must possess UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or equivalent, and the following: current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided; current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided; evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment; Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent. Highly desirable post-trade qualifications, telecommunications, hazardous areas, instrumentation , PLC’s, Scada, and/or electronics background.
