Global Resource Support is a locally owned WA business supporting mining and industrial clients across multiple projects throughout the state. With a busy period approaching, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Superintendent to join our team for upcoming shutdown works, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right person. This role suits someone who is highly organised, confident leading teams, and comfortable managing multiple work fronts in a fast-paced shutdown environment. About the Role You will oversee day-to-day shutdown activities, coordinate multidisciplinary crews, ensure safety and reporting standards are met, and step in for the Project Manager when required. You will also represent the business in daily and weekly client meetings. Key Responsibilities Manage shutdown tasks across multi-discipline work fronts Oversee daily timekeeping, safety compliance, and reporting obligations Attend daily/weekly client meetings and provide clear project updates Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and workflow to meet shutdown timelines Ensure works meet Section 26 and site compliance requirements Fill in for the Project Manager during periods of absence Identify and resolve site issues promptly to maintain progress Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior construction leadership role Strong understanding of Section 26 obligations Demonstrated ability to work across multidisciplinary work fronts Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong safety focus with proven shutdown experience (highly regarded) What We Offer Casual shutdown work with competitive hourly rates Potential for ongoing work on future projects and shutdowns Supportive and close-knit team Opportunity to make an impact in a leadership role If you're an experienced Construction Manager / Site Superintendent looking for shutdown work with the chance to secure ongoing opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
