We are seeking Expressions of Interest for upcoming AO4 Grants Officer contracts, partnering with Community Recoveries to support Queensland communities during natural disasters. These roles are activated at short notice and focus on helping individuals and families access financial aid, relief programs, and practical assistance when they need it most. Community Recoveries is a Queensland Government service dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by natural disasters such as bush fires, floods, and cyclones. They provide financial assistance, emotional support, and practical resources to help communities recover and rebuild, ensuring Queenslanders have access to the care and aid they need during times of crisis. We are seeking Expressions of Interest for upcoming AO4 Grants Officer contracts; candidates must be flexible to work across a 7‑day roster (including weekends and public holidays). Description Michael Page is seeking Expressions of Interest from candidates to join Community Recoveries this storm season, ready to be activated at short notice in a fast‑paced environment where resilience, reliability, and high standards are essential. Assess and process grant applications quickly and accurately during disaster response periods. Provide empathetic guidance to applicants navigating financial support options. Ensure compliance with policies while maintaining a supportive, community‑focused approach. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver timely outcomes under pressure. Profile Available immediately and flexible to work across a roster (including weekends and public holidays). Strong attention to detail with proven experience in customer service, business support, or grants administration. Empathetic and resilient, able to communicate with sensitivity during times of crisis. Requirement to hold (or be able to obtain) a satisfactory criminal history check. Job Offer $58.02 per hour + superannuation. Weekly pay cycle. A meaningful opportunity to support Queensland communities in partnership with Community Recoveries.
