Business & Operations Manager - CBD Restaurant

Every role contributes directly to shaping one of Brisbane's most distinctive and disciplined dining experiences, grounded in authenticity, Omotenashi, and continuous improvement. Role The Business & Operations Manager serves as the operational and financial backbone of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and stability across all back‑of‑house functions. This includes overseeing finance, HR, rostering, compliance, supplier management, and marketing planning and execution. The role provides the structure and discipline that allow the front‑of‑house and culinary teams to focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and product. Responsible for P&L performance, launch coordination, and the continuous improvement of systems and processes, this position is key to driving sustainable growth and operational excellence. Skills and Experience Experience in Opening & Pre‑Opening venues – Guest Engagement and satisfaction, along with all compliance, procurement, procedures, stock control & OHS Operational & Finance acumen with implementation of budgets, payroll, and HR frameworks Stakeholder Communication and strategic alignment between owners and operational staff Development and execution of marketing strategies through PR and Social Media Establishing and implementing the culture within the company by having the right staff in the right areas Relevant qualifications in Hospitality / RMLV / RSA / Approved Manager Benefits and Culture Join a company that wants to be known for excellence in hospitality.
