To keep up with our steady expansion, we are presenting a unique opening for an experienced Key Account Manager Conveyor Belting with a background in technical sales. This position is based on the East coast with a focus on the coal mining industry. Candidates familiar and experienced with FRAS conveyor belts, both in sales and technical aspects, will be considered ideal for this role. The Key Account Manager for Conveyor Belting is responsible for developing and implementing sales and technical support strategies for a major account. This role is pivotal in aiding the introduction and growth of BOTON belting products and conveyor health services into the East coast market. You will either working based out of our Perth, Mackay or Brisbane office . The primary strategic goals include overseeing the market launch of FRAS belting, amplifying BOTON’s market presence, and delivering comprehensive sales and technical support to one of BOTON’s major client. ABOUT THE ROLE The Key Account Manager for Conveyor Belting is responsible for developing and implementing sales and technical support strategies for a major account. This role is pivotal in aiding the introduction and growth of BOTON belting products and conveyor health services into the East coast market. You will either working based out of our Perth, Mackay or Brisbane office . The primary strategic goals include overseeing the market launch of FRAS belting, amplifying BOTON’s market presence, and delivering comprehensive sales and technical support to one of BOTON’s major client. AS THE KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER YOU WILL Build and own long-lasting relationship with the key account stake holders Spearhead the market entry and development of BOTON conveyor belting products and services with focus on the East Coast Coal Mining and General Mining Industry Understand the key accounts need for technical and/or sales support and lead the development and execution of a key account specific support framework Improve and/or develop technical documentation in line with market / client specific requirements Advise and support in both disciplines (sales + technical) with all general, project or tender related sales calls and subsequent responses Plan and execute regular site visits together with our client to monitor the performance of BOTON conveyor belts and identify any issues and problems faced by end customers to coordinate product optimization and/or development projects Oversee critical belt installations together with our client to support optimal conveyor performance and service life Lead the mentoring of the client’s team members to enhance overall technical knowledge about BOTON conveyor belts within the key account Coordinate and conduct field trials of BOTON conveyor belts and follow-up for product performance evaluation Servicing as the main point of contact between the client and BOTON internal teams Plan and execute factory visits for end customers and client stake holders to support / increase market acceptance of BOTON conveyor belting products Generating sales / order forecast to optimize factory utilization and ensure timely delivery of BOTON conveyor products Ensure the revenue and profit targets of the region are achieved or exceeded Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers within engineering and mining companies as well as with the general customer base Work closely with other BOTON team members (factory team, service team, sales team and others) to leverage opportunities related to lead generation. ABOUT YOU You will have comprehensive product knowledge of conveyor belting inclusive FRAS conveyor belts. Proven success at developing, entrenching and improving external and internal key relationships. Ability to work as a team, fostering a professional work ethic that delivers strong customer centric support.
