Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer (NDIS) Join our organisation and drive quality excellence in NDIS service delivery We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented professional to champion compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, manage our quality systems, and make a real difference in participants' lives. This key role supports the organisation’s compliance, governance, and service safety functions. It is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, continuous improvement, and quality systems, and is confident working autonomously within a supportive team. Your Role & Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for overseeing all compliance and quality functions, ensuring regulatory alignment and continuous improvement across the organisation. Lead Quality & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Policy Framework across the organisation, ensuring alignment with NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements. Create and implement internal audit tools aligned with NDIS Practice Standards. Conduct scheduled internal audits and prepare accurate audit evidence for mid-term and recertification reviews. Manage incident and reportable incident processes using platforms, escalating where required. Oversee the complaints management system and maintain risk registers (participant & organisational). Documentation, Reporting & Systems Maintain all participant documentation (recovery plans, progress notes, service agreements, monitoring forms like BGL/ABC/fluid charts, etc.). Manage the Continuous Improvement Register and prepare monthly quality & risk reports for the Director. Maintain staff compliance and training records (WWCC, NDIS worker screening, competencies, refresher training). Review and report restrictive practices in line with legislative requirements. Maintain accurate SharePoint documentation for stakeholder access. Conduct regular policy reviews and updates, delivering staff training programs as required. Implement and track quality improvement initiatives. Attend stakeholder meetings and training sessions to stay current with sector changes. What You Need Strong understanding and experience with NDIS Quality and Safeguards compliance requirements. Proven experience in policy development, compliance frameworks, governance, or auditing. Experience with incident, complaints, and risk management systems. Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, NDIS reporting platforms (PRODA). Excellent documentation, written communication skills, and attention to detail. Knowledge of restrictive practice regulations. Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and prepare organisations for NDIS audits. Previous experience within disability services, healthcare compliance, or clinical environments. Experience with high-intensity supports. Proficiency in SharePoint and data management experience. Qualifications in community services, disability, health, or quality management. Why Join Our Team?
