The Role Lynwood SHS is seeking a passionate and motivated Design and Technologies Teacher to join our dynamic learning community. The suitable applicants will ideally demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning and will deliver engaging, relevant, and high‑quality programmes across Years 7 to 12. Lynwood SHS offers a broad and vibrant Design and Technologies programme in Years 11 and 12, including General pathway courses in Building and Construction, Design: Technical Graphics, and Materials Design Technologies: Wood, as well as Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications in Certificate II in Engineering Pathways and Certificate II in Visual Arts (Photography). Students in Years 7 to 10 are introduced to fundamental design and technology concepts, developing essential practical and creative skills. Applicants with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or industry qualifications and the capacity to deliver VET programmes, or those willing to obtain these qualifications, are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidates will be a reflective practitioner committed to the continual development of their pedagogy and professional growth. Those with aspirations for leadership and the ability to manage or support key programmes and initiatives at Lynwood SHS will be highly regarded.
