Role Details Start: 15th December 2025 Location: Sydney CBD - Wynyard Pay: $40.56 per hour + super Duration: 6 months temporary assignment with potential for extension Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours WHVs welcome to apply About The Role As a Claims Consultant, your primary responsibility is to manage the end-to-end claims process for home and motor losses. This role is the frontline support for customers during stressful times. It requires exceptional empathy, resilience, and the ability to manage high-volume calls while delivering compassionate service. Key Responsibilities Manage End-to-End Claims: Efficiently handle the full claims lifecycle for home and motor policies. Customer Support: Engage with customers via high-volume calls, guiding them through the claims journey with clarity and care. Complex Loss Resolution: Provide support for major losses (e.g., fire, flood), ensuring customers feel supported when they need it most. Decision Making: Review, investigate, and make informed decisions on claims based on company policy and procedures. Conflict Resolution: Use excellent communication skills to address, resolve, and mitigate conflicts or objections with empathy and professionalism. Compliance: Ensure all claims actions adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards. Skills & Experience Required Prior experience in insurance claims or a high-volume contact centre environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated resilience and a positive attitude focused on delivering results. Strong work ethic and a collaborative team player. Deep commitment to providing excellent service and making a tangible difference in customers' lives. Strong computer literacy and technical aptitude.
