Use your exceptional time management, organisational and administrative skills to coordinate the daily activities for the Information Technology Unit Work/Life Balance - 9-day fortnight with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available Temporary full-time position for up to four years About the role The role of Personal Assistant to the Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring the Unit Manager has all the relevant information and documentation required to make well prepared and informed decisions. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating a high volume of tasks, correspondence, reports, presentation materials and financial information and other actions across the Unit. In addition, this role will see you working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that tasks assigned to relevant sections and units are delivered on time to ensure the effective delivery of work for the organisation. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. To be successful in this role, you will have: A certificate III qualification in Business Administration or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development. Demonstrated experience in a similar senior manager support role in a large sized organisation. Demonstrated experience with electronic records management systems, budget software, and other computer-based systems. Demonstrated working knowledge of budgets. Undertake complex and sensitive projects on behalf of the Unit Manager. Demonstrated experience in consultation, negotiation and conflict resolution. Other important information The commencing salary for this position is up to $80k. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $92k on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation We have a temporary full-time role available This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
