Job Description Yi Sushi, operating under GOHONZON PTY LTD T/A Yi Sushi, has served the community since 2011, specializing in authentic Japanese cuisine. We offer a menu of fresh sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, bento boxes, ramen, poke bowls, tempura, and noodle dishes, served through dine‑in, takeaway, and delivery. We are looking for a skilled Specialized Chef to join our team in Beeliar WA. The role is a full‑time, permanent position with a salary of $77,000–$80,000. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese and Asian‑inspired dishes with precision and consistency. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Support menu development and contribute creative ideas to improve offerings. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff when required. Manage stock rotation, monitor inventory, and assist with ordering supplies. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Assist the Head Chef and management team with smooth day‑to‑day operations. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a chef in a fast‑paced kitchen. AQF Diploma in Hospitality Management and AQF Certificate IV in Cookery. Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques is highly regarded. Relevant culinary training or certification is desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deliver high‑quality dishes during peak service hours. Good communication and teamwork skills.
