The Opportunity: Be Our Quality Guardian Ever wondered who's behind Australia's most indulgent desserts? That's us. PDP Fine Foods has been crafting premium chilled desserts since 2009, and our Wicked Sister brand has become the dessert obsession stocked in every major retailer across Australia and New Zealand. We're not just making desserts – we're creating moments of pure deliciousness, one perfect bite at a time. The Shift Night shift, 10pm – 6am (ideal for night owls and those who do their best work after hours) Your Mission Reporting to our Quality Manager, you'll be our eyes and ears on the production floor: ✅ Inspect Like a Pro – From raw materials to finished products, nothing gets past your eagle eyes ✅ Master the Testing Schedule – Calibration, product testing, environmental monitoring – you'll keep it all running like clockwork ✅ Guard Our Standards – Drive positive release processes through AQS checks, assessments, and COAs ✅ Be the Cleaning Champion – Line walks, pre-ops, ATP swabs, changeover inspections – you know the drill ✅ Champion Food Safety – HACCP, SQF, BRC compliance isn't just your job; it's your passion ✅ Solve & Improve – Root cause analysis, corrective actions, and collaborating with teams to make things even better ✅ Document Everything – Maintain meticulous records that would make auditors weep with joy ✅ Share Your Wisdom – Help develop policies, procedures, and training programs Who You Are You're the person who: Holds tertiary qualifications in Food Science (or related field) Lives and breathes food safety with solid industry experience under your belt Speaks fluent GMP, HACCP, SQF, and BRC like it's your native language Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards Communicates brilliantly – both written and verbal English skills are on point Problem‑solves effectively with strong analytical thinking Thrives in team environments and collaborates naturally with production crews Embraces flexibility – weekends and varied hours don't phase you Brings high energy and work ethic even when the rest of the world is sleeping The Wicked Perks Birthday Leave – Because your special day should be yours
