The Aboriginal Languages Trust is an agency committed to promoting, nurturing and growing Aboriginal languages across NSW. We work in genuine partnership with Aboriginal communities, the Trust Board and government to deliver long‑term, strategic outcomes in language revitalisation. The Project Officer, Events focuses on project management, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement. The role also involves monitoring outcomes, collaborating with internal and external partners, and ensuring compliance with work health and safety and diversity requirements. We’re Looking For Event Coordination and Project Management: Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and leadership direction. Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and partner organisations. Communication and Marketing Support: Ability to develop and deliver clear, engaging written content tailored to diverse audiences, including Aboriginal communities, government stakeholders, and the general public. Monitoring and Evaluation: Skills in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on project and event outcomes to inform future operational decisions and continuous improvement.
