Settlements Officer My client is a highly regarded national law firm with a sophisticated property and commercial practice. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Settlements Officer to join their high-performing Melbourne team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of the settlement process from start to finish. About the Role Working within a well‑structured and supportive team, you will take responsibility for managing a variety of property settlements across residential, commercial, and development matters. You will liaise with lenders, clients, conveyancers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant settlement outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end settlements, including PEXA Prepare, review, and finalise settlement documentation Coordinate settlement booking, timing, and follow‑up tasks Liaise with lenders, external parties, and internal teams Monitor timelines, anticipate issues, and escalat(e) where required Maintain accurate file records and support lawyers as needed About You Experience in property settlements, conveyancing, or mortgage processing Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to file management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Confident with PEXA and settlement processes Positive, team‑focused attitude and willingness to learn Why This Firm?
