Position: Accounts Receivable Officer Location: Sydney CBD Duration: 3 months temporary then will go permanent Paying: $38-$40 per hour plus super This role is to start ASAP– 4 days in office, 1 day from home. Work for an Australian - owned national professional services firm specialising in asset consulting. Reporting to the Executive Manager of Finance. The Accounts Receivable and Collections Officer is tasked with ensuring all billing, credit, and collection processes. Duties and Responsibilities Manage company Intranet, aiding staff and resolving issues. Handle billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies independently. Address complex billing issues with stakeholders and clients. Provide updated billing information and manage debt effectively. Collaborate with leaders to minimize bad debts and maintain acceptable DSO. Maintain registers, draft documents, and handle ad hoc tasks. Requirements Eager to embrace new tasks and challenges in AR, adept at swiftly understanding and resolving issues while making well-founded decisions. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, fostering relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders to meet work objectives. Proficient in effective communication and takes accountability for individual tasks Adheres to and embodies the company culture and values.
