About the opportunity Private Banking Services (PBS) a thriving franchise of Bendigo Bank offers a unique client-focused banking experience to high-net-worth individuals, executives, business owners and investors. We’ve seen significant growth since our launch in 2002 and are looking for talented individuals to join our highly experienced and collaborative team. At PBS you’ll provide holistic financial guidance supporting clients across their business, personal and investment needs. In this role you’ll get to Cultivate and expand our client portfolio by exceeding lending, deposit and revenue targets. Build and nurture strategic relationships within and outside of Bendigo Bank. Lead marketing and business development initiatives to attract new clients and enhance brand awareness. Collaborate effectively with the PBS team to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. Contribute actively to team meetings and strategic discussions. Comply with Bendigo Banks policies, procedures and risk management protocols. What you’ll bring to the role Proven success in relationship-building and business development within commercial, corporate and consumer banking. Direct experience with non-broker clients is a plus. Experience in customer acquisition, transaction management and negotiation in a banking environment. Significant experience in Commercial / Corporate / Property lending, preferably with Advanced Accreditation. Strong understanding of banking systems, processes, policies and stakeholder collaboration. Demonstrated ability to connect with and influence external business leaders. Proven track record in building lasting professional relationships. We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of most of your week in the office at least 60%.
