Legal Counsel – Aerospace/Satellite Imaging We’re working with a fast‑growing Australian space technology company seeking a Legal Counsel (or experienced Senior Legal Advisor) to join their team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract . This is a newly created position within a pioneering organisation that designs and operates advanced satellite systems. You’ll be the first in‑house lawyer, providing hands‑on support across a broad range of legal and compliance matters, with a particular focus on export control. Key responsibilities Export control management Contract and NDA administration Service contract drafting and review Governance and compliance support Legal coordination and documentation, including preparation of supporting materials Key requirements 3–4 years’ post‑qualification experience (5+ preferred) Background in space law or relevant imaging industry exposure Strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate autonomously in a start‑up environment Practical, solutions‑focused approach Equal opportunity employer .
