About The Role: As VIC State Service Manager, you will: Lead and support your team: Work alongside your Service Technicians, providing hands‑on guidance while fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and professional growth. Develop and grow the team: Mentor, inspire, and coach your technicians to help them build skills, improve performance, and reach their full potential. Enhance customer experience: Ensure every customer interaction exceeds expectations, resolving issues quickly and professionally. Manage operations: Plan and allocate resources, optimise van stock, and monitor key performance indicators including productivity, response times, and first‑time fix rates. Champion safety and compliance: Maintain strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards keeping your team and customers safe. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience managing and developing large field service or technical teams. Strong leadership and team‑player mindset. You lead by example and actively support your team. Customer focused attitude. You understand the importance of strong relationships and service excellence. Mechanical aptitude. Able to understand equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support your team in the field. Initiative and problem‑solving skills. You act without waiting for direction. Strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills. Ideally have a trade qualification (electrical, refrigeration, plumbing and experience with field service management systems (Oneforce, Service Max, etc.).
