Are you a skilled chef who loves bringing creativity and flavour to the menu? We are seeking an experienced chef/cook to join our fun, supportive, and dynamic BOH team located in Chadstone Shopping Centre . This role offers excellent work/life balance with no evening finishes. It’s the ideal position for someone who thrives during daytime service. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences using fresh, high-quality ingredients. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our breakfast and lunch offerings while ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations. You will work closely with management to create memorable dishes and maintain a well‑run kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Organise and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure an exceptional dining experience Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and assist with stock ordering Maintain strict quality control of all dishes leaving the kitchen Prepare and cook dishes using strong culinary techniques, especially Breakfast & Lunch À La Carte Uphold and enforce hygiene and food safety regulations Support recruitment, training, and management of kitchen staff Collaborate with management to oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with Food Safety standards Requirements At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar fast‑paced chef or cook role Proven experience in Breakfast & Lunch À La Carte service Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment Available to work weekdays and occasional weekends Must hold a valid Australian working visa What We Offer Competitive salary package based on experience Early finishes and no late nights A beautifully designed, high‑end work environment in Chadstone Shopping Centre Creative freedom to develop and refine our breakfast and lunch menus A friendly, supportive, and energetic team environment If you are a dedicated and creative culinary professional looking to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team.
