The Role Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, this role supports the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded, and discrepancies resolved. Previous experience within a high‑volume retail environment would be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities End-to-end ownership of the debtor’s ledger Cash receipting and allocation of payments Reconciliation of customer accounts Liaising with internal and external customers regarding account queries Creation of new debtor master files Processing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals About You Previous experience in a similar role (preferred) Previous experience in Great Plains or similar ERP systems (highly regarded) Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Strong numerical skills Highly organised with good time‑management and prioritisation skills Strong attention to detail and high accuracy Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Proven initiative and proactive mindset Team‑oriented with the ability to work independently when required About Beacon Lighting Our story began in Melbourne in 1967 with a single store.
