About the role As a Business Development Manager at Plenti youll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our consumer lending portfolio while expanding our brand presence within your designated state. This dynamic field-based position will require you to identify acquire and manage new broker accounts while strengthening and nurturing relationships with aggregator partners. You will implement and execute strategic sales initiatives aimed at maximising market share and fostering customer loyalty across our personal loan and automotive lending products. Your role will also include representing Plenti at industry events actively engaging with broker partners and being a key ambassador for the addition to managing broker relationships you will mentor and collaborate closely with Relationship Managers within your territory providing guidance support and leadership to ensure the team achieves its collective goals. To succeed youll leverage your extensive network industry expertise and passion for sales to drive results and be a trusted partner to both brokers and internal teams. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced customer-centric environment and is comfortable working autonomously while balancing cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Identify acquire and develop new broker accounts within your territory while strengthening relationships with aggregator partners to maximise broker engagement Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to enhance market share and customer loyalty Actively promote Plentis Automotive and Personal Loan products to brokers reinforcing our brand presence Stay ahead of industry trends competitor activities and market conditions to drive informed decision-making Represent Plenti at industry events conferences and networking opportunities as the face of the business Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and National Sales Manager to align on key initiatives Provide ongoing training and support to brokers to improve their understanding of Plentis products and processes Track analyse and report on sales performance ensuring alignment with business objectives About You 3 years experience in business development sales or account management within financial services and broker networks A strong network within the broker or aggregator landscape with the ability to build and maintain high-value relationships Proven track record of success consistently achieving and exceeding sales and growth targets Exceptional communication negotiation and influencing skills to engage key stakeholders and drive outcomes A strategic mindset capable of developing and executing long-term sales initiatives Deep knowledge of lending products credit risk underwriting and market dynamics Resilience and adaptability thriving in a fast-paced environment and navigating challenges with confidence Strong time management and self-organisation skills with the ability to work autonomously Collaboration and teamwork working cross-functionally to drive shared success and enhance broker and customer relationships Integrity and professionalism building trust through transparency reliability and ethical decision-making Whats life like at Plenti Working at Plenti means joining a team that is high-performing diverse customer-focused and collaborative.
