We are looking for a passionate and reliable Demi Chef to join our hotel kitchen team at Mercure Sydney Parramatta. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to a high standard Support with day-to-day kitchen operations Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment Ensure all food is prepared efficiently and presented consistently Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations Assist with stock control, deliveries and rotation Contribute to menu development and share creative ideas Attend training and development sessions as required Requirements: Previous experience in a Demi Chef or similar role, preferably in hotels Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations High attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to work efficiently during early morning shifts Team player with excellent communication skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed Full working rights in Australia – this is essential Culinary qualification or relevant training is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
