Job Description - Election Workforce Support Officer (0000B4O8) Election Workforce Support Officer - 0000B4O8 Join a collaborative, fun and high performing team Play a key role in delivering a major statewide election event About the Role As an Election Workforce Support Officer, you will provide hands‑on support to help build, manage and prepare a large talent pool workforce for the next State Government Election 2027. You will assist with planning, coordination and implementation of various workforce projects and playing a key supportive role during a critical time at NSW Electoral Commission. About the NSW Electoral Commission The New South Wales Electoral Commission delivers trusted and independent systems, processes, oversight and engagement that support democracy in New South Wales. Running and regulating elections Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key NSW community stakeholders and NSW election participants; and Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral and lobbying laws such as the Electoral Act 2017 and the Electoral Funding Act 2018. Sound organisation and time management skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Effective computer skills and experience in using different business systems, including excel. Demonstrated client focus and strong customer service skills. Previous experience in recruitment and communicating with operational staff. Previous experience working in large scale events and working with tight deadlines. Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/third party campaigners. Satisfactory Criminal Record check result. This role is based in at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office with a hybrid work arrangement, however leading into election time, you will be expected to be in the office full‑time and possibly work in offsite locations across Sydney.
