We encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply for this role. The Opportunity Komatsu has the opportunity for a Product Support Advisor as part of our Tier 1 Rio Tinto team. Your role will be managing the fleet health of all Komatsu equipment by way of providing on-the-job technical assistance for the maintenance personnel in fault finding including major component change outs, maintenance & operating practices. You'll assist personnel to resolve parts sourcing issues and resolve technical information sourcing issues. As a Product Support Advisor you'll be off the tools as the go-to machine expert. Key Responsibilities Involvement in repair process on local dealer machinery Assistance in administration of warranty Understanding and forecasting the scheduled downtime Feedback on service personnel Optimisation of machines & machine system monitoring Roster : 8 : 6 FIFO – Day shift only Role Located : Pilbara Komatsu Benefits Families Policy : 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefits. What You Bring Hold a Trade or Engineering Qualification or background Have sound knowledge and experience of Komatsu haul trucks or diggers Have worked on Mine Site / s in the WA Mining Industry Self-motivated with good initiative as well as strong team player attitude with drive and professionalism to excel Always have a high standard of Customer service whilst always promoting Komatsu Products and Services Demonstrated problem solving skills Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to O.H.S always Ability to work away remotely at the customer site Have strong negotiation skills and attention to detail Ready to get started?
