Senior Manager, Social and Emotional Wellbeing Part‑time, fixed term – 32hpw for 12 months We are offering an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Aboriginal Health Partnerships Directorate. This is an identified role for Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander people. We proudly deliver the Primary Health Network (PHN) Program across the stunning north coast region from Tweed Heads to Port Macquarie across Bundjalung, Githabul, Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Birpai and Yaegl lands. The Healthy North Coast (HNC) Aboriginal Health Partnership brings together six Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, and Healthy North Coast to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people across the North Coast Primary Health Network region. The Partnership fosters shared decision‑making, cultural safety, and collaborative action to deliver services that reflect the needs, priorities, and strengths of local communities. About the Role The Senior Manager, Social and Emotional Wellbeing, will play a key role in shaping and delivering culturally safe and responsive mental health and wellbeing initiatives in partnership with Aboriginal communities and organisations. This position involves working collaboratively with Werin, Durri, Galambila and Darrimba Maara Aboriginal Medical Services, as well as the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNC LHD), to build capacity and strengthen partnerships. The Senior Manager will engage with key stakeholders to identify current service gaps, build relationships with local AMSs and the MNC LHD, connect key groups to work collaboratively, drive the establishment of a MNC Regional SEWB committee and coordinate and implement actions to improve SEWB outcomes. Throughout all activities, the voices and strengths of local communities will remain central, ensuring that initiatives are grounded in the lived experiences and priorities of Aboriginal people.
