Join as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Bendigo Advertiser . This permanent, full‑time position is located in Newcastle or Tamworth/Armidale and offers a competitive salary of $114,251.00 – $134,809.00 plus superannuation and salary packaging. About the Position As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to executives, senior leaders and line managers. Your role spans a wide range of HR functions within a complex, unionised environment, including industrial relations, workforce planning, organisational change, and diversity & inclusion initiatives. Responsibilities Interpret and apply industrial awards, engage with unions and employee associations, and resolve industrial issues collaboratively. Lead or support complex workplace investigations, misconduct management, performance improvement and case management ensuring fairness and organisational standards. Partner with leaders to plan and implement organisational change initiatives that enhance culture, engagement and workforce adaptability. Drive diversity and inclusion strategies, embedding respectful and equitable employment practices across all teams. Co‑coach and mentor leaders to strengthen people leadership capabilities and resolve workplace issues. Support workforce design, rostering and capability development to deliver a capable and cost‑effective workforce. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, Business or equivalent experience. At least 5+ years of experience in HR generalist roles with significant industrial relations exposure. Demonstrated experience in workplace investigations, misconduct management and performance improvement. Proven capability in organisational change management and workforce planning. Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills. A passion for diversity, inclusion and building strong, collaborative relationships. Current driver’s licence and ability to travel within the district as required.
