The role: The Radiographer (Medical Imaging Practitioner) is responsible for: Performing basic imaging examinations to produce images of the highest diagnostic value possible whilst using ionising radiations. Both in general and fluoroscopic radiography. Ensuring compliance with the ‘as low as reasonably achievable’ (ALARA) principle whilst using ionising and non-ionising radiation to provide images. Liaise with staff and the general public in matters relating to general radiography. Candidate must be Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, shift worker (fully rotational) positions available, working 76 hours per fortnight, to commence as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum A market allowance of $10,000 per annum pro rata is approved until 31 May 2026, this allowance will be reviewed prior to expiry Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees.
