In this role, you'll:

Be part of the team that keeps the rail service moving You’ll be based in Mortdale and play an important role in ensuring Sydney Trains is providing safe and efficient service to the community.

It is a diverse role that will see you carrying out servicing, replacement, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs to electrical components like lighting, drivers’ controls, data log systems, PA systems and more. You’ll gain training and experience in this position, and diversify your duties as you grow in the role.

This is a permanent, fulltime position with your base being a 24-hour operating centre, as a result the roster will include weekends and nights.

About you

Whilst experience is of great importance, this role does require a relevant trade qualification (min Cert III in an Electrical Trade).

In addition to the qualification, you have relevant experience in systems, fault finding, maintenance and repair. This is combined with a collaborative and adaptable nature, ability to work autonomously and within a small team, and a safety-focused approach to your work.
