Your new role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable function and supporting financial accuracy across the business. This position will suit someone with strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our invoicing, reconciliations, and collections. Key Responsibilities Generate and issue invoices through our project management system Ensure all financial data from the project management system is accurately imported and validated in MYOB Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial posting Conduct debt collection and follow up outstanding accounts professionally Liaise with internal teams to resolve billing queries and support project financials Set up and maintain new loans and related balance sheet entries Process staff reimbursements and oversee expense claims Work collaboratively with our external bookkeeping company and internal finance team Maintain accurate records and support audit and compliance requirements What you’ll need to succeed Minimum 5–6 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance role Strong understanding of end-to-end receivables processes High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills A customer-first outlook with a professional and proactive approach Experience with MYOB and project management systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain process discipline What you’ll get in return You’ll be joining a national organisation with a strong commitment to environmental excellence and workplace flexibility.
