You will use your specialist skills to lead recovery-focused interventions, supervise staff and students, and contribute to service improvement across WSLHD Mental Health Services. In this role, you will: Deliver high-level OT assessments, interventions and group programs within a recovery framework Manage a complex caseload using independent clinical judgement while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Provide expert consultation for discharge planning and community transition Lead and participate in quality improvement projects and evidence-based practice initiatives Coordinate and supervise OT students and support skill development across the team Be part of a team where your skills create genuine impact. Requisition ID : REQ Applications Close: 11th January 2026 Essential Requirements Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by Occupational Therapy Board of AustraliaRegistration: General registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Selection Criteria Degree or Diploma in Occupational therapy with Full National registration. Demonstrated mental health experience in the use of Standardised Occupational Therapy assessment tools. Demonstrated experience in evidence-based service provision and commitment to recovery based programs, implementation, and evaluation. Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation in their treatment and care plan development, working with families and carers. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, and time management skills. Demonstrated experience in student co-ordination and commitment to supervision of students, implementing education programs and liaison with university placement coordinators. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, organise work in an effective manner and maintain partnerships. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
