Department and Campus Overview Keysborough Secondary College, located in Keysborough VIC, is a multi‑campus school offering programs for students Years 7‑12 across the Acacia and Banksia campuses. Role Summary This part‑time position (four working days) is under the direction of the Careers Development Practitioner & Pathways Manager. It includes career counselling, support for the delivery of career programs, and significant administrative and communication duties. Key Responsibilities Conduct Year 10‑12 Career Action Plan interviews. Provide pathways counselling for disengaged and at‑risk students. Offer information and guidance to students, parents and staff on post‑school pathways and individual course selection. Support the Careers Development Practitioner & Pathways Manager with Structured Workplace Learning, Work Experience and other career programs. Maintain a high level of administrative support for the careers programme. Liaise with external organisations, agencies and providers regarding student pathways. Provide VTAC and SEAS counselling and subject‑selection counselling. Continue professional development and maintain currency as a Careers Practitioner. Other duties as directed by the Careers Development Practitioner & Pathways Manager or Principal Class Team. Qualifications and Professional Requirements Applicants must possess appropriate tertiary qualifications, proven experience in career counselling, and a demonstrated commitment to professional learning.
