The Pricing Analyst sits within the Commercial and Consumer Markets function and supports both Customer and Commercial Insurance. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in improving product profitability and ensuring strong financial oversight across our insurance portfolios. What you'll do Work with a Senior Pricing Advisor or Data Scientist to develop, recommend and implement pricing solutions that meet financial and non-financial objectives. Use your strong understanding of insurance data assets to extract, manipulate and analyse data for business needs. Develop processes and tools that identify business opportunities by monitoring market conditions and performance against Budget and P and L. Interpret large data sets to identify emerging trends and produce clear, insightful reporting that tracks portfolio performance and drives continuous improvement. Identify, investigate and introduce new data sources to enhance reporting suites. Champion innovation by improving current processes and automating where possible. Provide pricing and analytical advice to internal stakeholders, including responding to ad hoc queries and translating technical insights into practical business recommendations. Follow compliance processes and standards Take ownership of your development plan and ongoing professional learning What you'll bring Mandatory - Bachelor’s degree in data science, Actuarial Studies, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science or a related field. Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable. Experience in general insurance analytics or pricing is valued but not essential. Experience with SAS, R, Python, or SQL is highly regarded. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced, project-based team environment. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
