Mansell Taylor Consulting – Macquarie Park NSW Are you an experienced IT Team Leader ready to take ownership of a high-performing support team? Join a leading organisation based in Macquarie Park in this fully onsite role, where you’ll lead a team of six Level 2 Desktop and Field Support professionals providing end‑user and on‑site support across Sydney. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, lifting service standards, and creating a motivated, customer‑focused culture. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the team, visible across the business, and proactive in solving problems before they arise. What you’ll be doing Lead, coach, and develop a team of six Level 2 Support Technicians (desktop). Oversee day‑to‑day operations, workload management, and service‑level performance (SLAs and KPIs). Act as the senior escalation point for complex issues, ensuring fast and professional resolution. Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders across operations and corporate services. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, documentation, and communication standards. Foster a positive, accountable, and high‑performing team culture. About you Proven experience leading Level 2 / Desktop / Field Support teams. Strong technical grounding across Microsoft 365, Windows, and end‑user computing. Confident, “firm‑but‑fair” leadership style that builds trust and accountability. Excellent communicator who can engage with both technical staff and senior business stakeholders. Organised, calm under pressure, and motivated by delivering results through people. Familiar with ITIL or ITSM frameworks and service management tools.
