Chandler Macleod presents an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join the Beresfield team based in the Steggles production plant. As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will be a vital part of the team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing Baiada's commitment to quality in poultry processing. This position offers consistent and full-time hours. About the Role Verify cleaning and pest control activities to ensure hygiene standards are met. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System. Conduct internal audits and support external audit preparation and participation. Verify monitoring activities during production and review completed daily paperwork. Prepare product samples for laboratory testing and analyse lab results. Perform data entry, filing, and reporting related to quality and hygiene. Conduct end of shelf life product evaluations. Carry out post clean and environmental swabbing, including Biotrace testing in RTE and fully cooked areas. Perform 2-hourly cook-ups and sensory evaluations. Collect product samples for quality checks. Calibrate equipment including scales, Oxybaby, and thermometers. Evaluate both fresh and frozen products for quality and compliance.
