Overview Yarra Leisure is seeking energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Group Exercise Instructors to work in our growing group exercise program across our Fitzroy, Collingwood and Richmond sites. We deliver over 130 classes per week and are committed to delivering enjoyable, safe and fun classes while contributing to a positive team culture. Employment: Casual – Band 3A + 25% – $40.97 p/h + super + Class Allowance between $46.48 – $70.48 (class dependent) Class styles Aqua Deep Water Running Mat Pilates Spin Yoga Meditation Tai Chi SwimFit What we offer The latest equipment, technology and a supportive environment to deliver the best classes. What you need to apply Ability to deliver enjoyable, safe and fun classes and the willingness to contribute to a positive team culture. Application requirements Resume Qualification specific to the application exercise styles CPR and First Aid certification Working with Children Check AusActive Registration or equivalent, or willingness to attain Key Selection Criteria Describe your experience and ability to lead enjoyable, informative and productive exercise classes. Provide an example of your proactive ability to increase class participation and occupancy. Describe how you demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development, maintenance of industry certifications and best practice techniques. In your application, the selection panel will assess your CV against the technical skills, abilities, and qualifications of the Position Description, including your responses to the Key Selection Criteria. *This position is subject to satisfactory Police Check, Working with Children Check and a pre-employment medical assessment prior to commencement.
