Service Co-ordinator / Scheduler Perth Rewind Industries – Bayswater, WA Full Time | Competitive Salary + Stability + Great Team A key role in a long-established, hands‑on WA service business Perth Rewind Industries is a respected, family‑owned electrical motor rewind and repair company providing specialist services across Western Australia for more than 20 years. We support a wide range of customers — commercial, industrial, mining, trades, and home users — with fast turnaround repairs on: Electric motors Pumps (bore, pool, retic, industrial) Alternators & generators Field breakdown support Workshop‑based diagnostics & testing We are known for honesty, reliability, and solving problems quickly. As our workflow continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Service Co-ordinator / Scheduler to join our small, friendly team and keep the wheels turning smoothly. The opportunity This is a key position coordinating daily workshop and field service operations. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, technicians, customers, and suppliers to ensure jobs move efficiently from enquiry → booking → repair → completion. If you enjoy staying organised, helping customers, solving problems and keeping a busy workshop running at its best, this role will suit you perfectly. Your day will include: Scheduling and coordinating daily jobs, repairs and urgent breakdown work Managing incoming calls and emails with a friendly, professional approach Logging job details, customer instructions, quotes and progress updates in our workflow system liaising with the workshop team on parts, tooling, consumables and repair priorities booking in new equipment installations, collections and field service visits assisting with follow‑ups, approvals and customer updates preparing or assisting with quotes (training provided) generating invoices for completed work (training provided) monitoring priority jobs, ensuring deadlines and customer expectations are met This role is varied, busy and rewarding — and you will be a central part of the team. Essential skills & attributes Strong communication skills and confident phone manner Excellent customer service focus High attention to detail and good problem‑solving ability Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organised in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work well within a small team A proactive approach — you naturally take ownership and keep ahead of the workflow Strong general computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems Highly desirable (but not essential) Trade, mechanical, electrical, or technical background OR strong mechanical aptitude Minimum 2–3 years in a service coordination, scheduling, operations, or admin role Experience scheduling technicians or coordinating jobs Familiarity with spare parts, workshop operations, or repairs Local area knowledge (Perth metro & regional WA) Experience with invoicing or quoting If you’ve worked in a workshop, trades, service, or technical environment, you'll have a strong advantage.
