Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park – Pearcedale VIC Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, renowned for its commitment to conservation and exceptional wildlife experiences, is seeking a Accounts Payable Officer to support its busy operations. As Moonlit Sanctuary’s Accounts Payable Officer, you would report to the Manager - Finance and be responsible for the regular and accurate processing of all accounts payable. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an organisation driven to achieve impactful outcomes for its people, the animals in our care, the environment and the visitor experience. Key Responsibilities: Receive, verify, and process invoices in accordance with Moonlit Sanctuary policies, procedures and delegations, resolving any discrepancies. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments within trading terms. Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant. Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors, respond to inquiries and resolving issues professionally. Reconcile petty cash funds and corporate debit cards. Coordinate payments to contractors in accordance with agreed terms. Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of financial reports as required. What We're Looking For: Someone with an interest in supporting wildlife and environmental conservation through their chosen vocation. A qualification in bookkeeping, finance, business or alike, or equivalent experience in a similar role. A great communicator who can liaise effectively with valued suppliers, other stakeholders and colleagues. Someone who considers time management a particular skill. Someone who likes to dot Is and cross Ts and who values relationships as much as results.
