Location: Tumby Bay Caravan Park, Tumby Bay, South Australia. Type of Position: Full-time, Live onsite Accommodation: Well-appointed, fully furnished two-bedroom house with two sitting rooms and one bathroom. We seek a dynamic management couple to lead our team, drive operational excellence, and champion our culture of hospitality and continuous improvement. Role Summary The Manager Couple will have full operational responsibility, including staff leadership, guest experience, financial performance, and property upkeep. You will be empowered to make key decisions, innovate, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing team environment. Building strong relationships with both guests and the local community is central to this role. Both partners must possess management experience in caravan/holiday park, hospitality, or tourism operations. It is essential that both partners have caravan park management experience, not just one partner meeting this requirement. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire the park team to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Oversee all aspects of bookings, check‑ins/outs, and guest communications, ensuring a warm, memorable experience. Manage after‑hours guest needs and emergencies with a practical, solution‑oriented approach. Supervise, coach, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and set clear expectations. Direct all facility maintenance, housekeeping, and safety compliance, ensuring high standards are met. Proactively manage budgets, cost controls, and reporting; analyse financials and implement improvement initiatives. Build partnerships with local businesses and coordinate guest activities and community engagement events. Utilise property management systems (RMS Cloud or similar) and digital tools for efficient administration. Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs, guest feedback, and compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in caravan/holiday park, hospitality, or tourism management (NRMA, Big 4, Discovery, Ingenia, or equivalent highly regarded). Minimum 3‑5 years of management experience in caravan/holiday parks or hospitality operations. Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills. Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, and reporting. Friendly, outgoing, and guest‑focused. Proactive, innovative, and results‑driven. Commitment and capability to deliver quality maintenance and continuous improvement. Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required. Current First Aid certification is required. Success Metrics & KPIs Guest satisfaction (target: 4.4/5 or higher) Occupancy and revenue growth targets Staff retention and engagement Compliance with safety and operational standards Community and guest event participation Working Hours The park managers are both expected to live in the manager’s house and work 5 days per week during office hours, plus provide any after‑hours assistance to guests as required.
