As a Claims Management Officer – Motor, you’ll manage end-to-end claims for complex motor cases, ensuring timely, efficient, and customer-focused outcomes. You’ll assess liability, apportionment, and quantum, handle credit hire and recovery processes, and respond to legal demands. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, you’ll drive strategic outcomes, support continuous improvement, and contribute to a high-performing, customer-first culture. This is a 12 month max-term full-time role based in Meanjin (Brisbane). What You’ll Do Manage end-to-end claims for complex motor cases with accuracy and efficiency. Assess liability, apportionment, and quantum, including loss of income and demurrage. Oversee credit hire and recovery processes from a defendant perspective. Respond to legal demands and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve strategic outcomes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to a high-performing culture. What You’ll Bring Experience managing complex motor claims, including liability and quantum (including loss of income / demurrage). Knowledge of credit hire and recovery processes, ideally from a defendant view. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. A collaborative approach with great stakeholder engagement. Solid understanding of the end-to-end claims journey and key operational processes.
