This is through our steadfast commitment to providing patient and family-centred care at every level of our service and our continuous drive for service and operational excellence.Children's Health Queensland is a specialist statewide hospital and health service dedicated to caring for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.We are committed to collaborating with all of our healthcare partners, most importantly families, to ensure we consistently deliver safe, high-quality patient and family-centred care.A recognised leader in paediatric healthcare, education and research, Children's Health Queensland delivers a full range of clinical services, tertiary level care and health promotion programs.We provide an integrated network of services through:Statewide services and programs, including specialist outreach and telehealth servicesPartnerships with other hospital and health services and non-government organisationsChildren's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.The position of Senior Media & Communications Officer will:Support the Media and Communications Manager in the delivery of high-quality, timely and impactful media communications (proactive and reactive) that advances the priorities of the Children's Health Queensland Strategic Plan.Lead the development and dissemination of media communications and content strategies that helps position Children's Health Queensland as a trusted provider of healthcare services for Queensland children and young people.Develop and deliver high-quality communication materials and activities across a variety of digital and print platforms that meet the identified strategic direction and goals of Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.Liaise with and advise Clinicians, Consumer and Community groups to guide development of media, marketing and digital engagement communications to achieve Children's Health Queensland Strategic aims.What CHQ HHS can offerApart from contributing to the development of Australia's best paediatric health service, you will also benefit from a competitive remuneration package and a working environment which embraces professional development, builds capabilities and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.
