Xin chào Bring joy to the Vietnamese Community at Westhaven At our Westhaven Aged Care Community in Footscray, we have lovely older individuals of Vietnamese heritage (Di sn vn hóa Vit Nam) who would benefit from companionship (tình bn). By becoming a Baptcare Companion (Bn ng hành Baptcare), you will have the chance to improve their wellbeing through activities such as: conversation (cuc trò chuyn) about shared & common interests, reminiscing on old stories reading or listening to Vietnamese news (c hoc nghe tin tc bng ting Vit) listening to Vietnamese music & singing (nghe nhc Vit Nam và hát) arts and crafts (ngh thut và th công) taking a stroll (i do) playing card or board games (chi bài hoc trò chi bng) gardening (làm vn) culturally specific and individually appropriate support to enhance their wellbeing. What kind of Volunteer are we looking for? a number of people who can speak Vietnamese (Ting Vit) friendly (thân thin) enthusiastic (nhit tình) flexible (linh hot) and able to adapt to different situations able to work independently & self‑motivated (có kh nng làm vic c lp và có ng lc t thân) strong verbal communication skills (k nng giao tip bng li mnh m) By becoming a Baptcare Volunteer, you’ll be part of a compassionate, multi‑generational community that values the wellbeing of others.
